A Little Dinner Party

 

Last night we had the neighbors on both sides 

of us over for a little dinner party.

I set the table with our Tiffany dishes, nice silverware

and the antler steak knives.

I made little goodie party favors for the guests to

take home which was a mix of cookies and chocolates.

The menu was simple

 prime rib roast

smashed potatoes

corn pudding

garden salad

yeast rolls

red wine

assorted cookies and chocolates

It was a nice evening and everyone enjoyed

themselves.  We all kept and eye to the sky in search

of the scheduled rocket launch from Wallops Island.   

That was then put on hold due to high upper 

level winds.  Tonight they will try the launch again.

 It's pretty cool to see the rocket zip by

between 30 and 60 seconds after lift off all

right from our front door.
