This year we don't have a lot of goslings - maybe 6 tops.
Last year we had over 20 running through our yard.
We do have ducklings - five to be exact.
Lupine's ... What do they symbolize ?
The lupin flower stands for imagination, admiration, and
overall happiness. Whether given as a gift or grown in your
garden, the lupin brings the energy of inner strength to
recover from trauma. When given as a gift, it tells the
received that a positive outlook leads to the discovery
of new opportunities.
I'm crazy for my Lupine's. I still have one small Lupine that
hasn't sent up it's flowers yet.
Yellow Peony
Peony ... What do they symbolize?
Overall, the flower is considered to symbolize bashfulness or
good luck while in China and Japan the blooms mean wealth,
honor and fortune. Peony flowers are also said to represent
compassion, making them a strong choice for many looking
for sympathy bouquets.
This peony was the first to open and it's full of blooms.
There are four more bushes that are getting ready to pop.
Sweet Williams ... What do they symbolize?
According to Victorian language of flowers, Sweet Williams
signify gallantry. It can be of no surprise therefore that the Dutchess
of Cambridge chose to include the white Sweet Williams
in her wedding bouquet in 2011 - in honor of her own
gallant Prince, no doubt.
Forget-Me-Not ... What does it symbolize?
Forget-Me-Nots symbolize true love and respect. When you
give someone these tiny blooms, it represents a promise
that you will keep them in your thoughts. They are also
considered a symbol of fidelity and faithfulness.
I have two Lupine plants that are blooming in the
back yard under the Japanese Snowbell tree. That
little tree is getting ready to burst into blooms.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.
Love your lupines. My dad had given me seeds from his years ago and I had tons of them for a while. A few years back something got into the flower bed and started choking everything out including the lupines. I still have a few but not many
