I submitted a bunch of photo's to Drop Box for Jaftex to use.
Here are the collections I've been working with.
There is enough fabric from the "Blast Off" collection for me
to make maybe two more quilt tops. I used the template from
Karen Montgomery and Creative Grids to make the stars.
Karen is super talented and is also a brand ambassador.
"Love and Light" while I'm not Jewish I did figure
out someone I can gift this quilt to.
I do love the shade of blue the designed used.
"A Day at School" ... this was a soft book panel that I
cut up and placed on point. For me this is a new pattern I pulled from
a magazine years ago - the side triangles extend out beyond
the points of the blocks giving it a bordered look.
There is enough fabric left [except for the black print]
to make at least one more quilt. I will pull out from my
stash the black JotDot fabric for the next quilt I make.
This will be the substitute for the black alphabet fabric.
"Our Greatest Gift" collection is done. I may have enough
fabric leftover for a tiny quilt. I really don't like to put
small pieces back into my stash so I try and work them into
the back fabric which makes the back more interesting.
This pattern which came from a 2014 McCall's Quick Quilt magazine.
This top needs a home. Since it has a growth chart
on the top right of the panel it can't be
donated to the Hole in the Wall gang.
I'm almost caught up with all things Jaftex . . . so I can
focus on several of my projects that have been waiting
patiently to get done ... like my lavender French Rose
quilt. I have two cut out and ready to sew. One I will
keep and one will be sent to my friend Liza.
