the heron dance or who ruffled my feathers

Julep watched as the big heron landed on the
dock yesterday morning ... which [of course]
sparked a barking session.
The Heron Dance ... put your right foot out.

Could this be a mating dance?
 Or could it be ...
I just need to stretch out my wings and rest awhile.
The wild look or who ruffled my feathers?
Derby ... happy as a little clam just lovin' the good life
on his lounge chair ... in the morning sun ... watching Julep
barking at the heron.
Wishing you a great day.

  1. Ha! One of the male herons in our neighborhood likes to watch the fisherman, and they beg to be fed! Some of them feed them on the bridge railings. Bonnie Blue hates them worse than the geese!

    Get 'em, Julep!
