It's a Dark and Stormy day.

 Boy oh boy ... the weather is sure nasty today.  Gusty winds,

pounding rain and high surf.  A good day to stay inside and do nothing.

 This was the surf late yesterday afternoon pre-rain.

 Derby said thank goodness we're on high ground.

 This is what Derby did because he was bored ...

 ring around the dining room chairs.  I think he was

just looking for crumbs.

 This is the surf today.  The rain is going sideways and I'm hoping

we get a little break so the westies can go outside.

Hoping this storm moves from the Outer Banks sooner rather than later.

It's a good day for staying in bed with the covers over your head

and cuddling with two westies.
