We're Just Chillin' & The Holiday Scrappy Quilt Has Found A Home

What started out as sleet at 6:15a.m. turned into snow at 11:00a.m.
so we're just chillin' out today.  It's a good day for the westies
to catch up on their beauty sleep.
Since I finally finished the scrappy holiday quilt I think today
I'll be working on some American Girl doll clothing.
I did more quilting on this then I normally do and have to say
I really really like it.  No wonder my right arm is killing me!
I used the green fabric left over from the border to make the
scrappy green and white binding.
The white fabric gives your eyes a place to rest.
Would you believe I still have enough strips left over to make another
holiday quilt.  I'm debating if I should pack them away for next year or
just bite the bullet and make another quilt but use a different pattern.
This quilt will be heading to it's new home just across the Chesapeake
Bay Bridge to a facebook friend.

  2. It was chilly here today but didn't start snowing until just a little while ago. I dread seeing what it will look like in the morning when I have to head to work.
The quilt turned out really nice.

  3. I think that quilt is just gorgeous, to think that all that material was used to make other things and yet the scraps can still be turned into something so warm and cozy.
    Happy Holidays
