Pictures From Yesterday

Yesterday afternoon we walked the westies over to the
new house to open up the garage.  We wanted to air it out
for a few hours and check on how the paint was drying.
It was a short and hot walk.   The westies are what I call
'low riders'  because they so low to the street and the heat
really gets to them in a big way.
When we got home they passed out.  Julep on the fabric I
had laid out for the back of a quilt and Derby [below] by
his little pink bed.
Today I finished up three [3] quilts.  Two baby size and one
lap size so now they are waiting for me to do the binding.
I also started another nautical quilt from the bundle of fat quarters
and I want this one to go to an old high school
friends for her grand son.
This is the top of the quilt and it's back is the owl fabric above.
I'm naming this quilt .... From Sea to Tree ... get it?
Derby ... as sweet as sugar!
Studying the Bernina.
Our resident ducks making the trek from the ponds behind
our new place to the swamp behind our rental.  They own this space
and have stopped traffic while crossing the street.  I think
the community association should put up a sign
that reads ... Duck Crossing!

  1. That Derby is too stinkin' cute! Do you have strollers for your Westies? Our neighbor, Westie Winston, has his own stroller. He loves it!
