A neighbor called last minute and asked if we wanted to
join them for dinner by the fire pit at the Inn. We said
yes and we didn't realize they built fire pits by the water.
Saturday night was very cloudy with a slight breeze.

There was a wedding reception underway on the front lawn
under a massive tent. I don't want to think how much that costs!
Even with the breeze it was pleasant to dine outside.

named Buddy. Our Julep & Buddy seem to have a love/hate
relationship with each other.
The food was actually good and our server who we knew
from another restaurant was excellent. Our small group
were the only ones who dined outside. As far as the fire pit -
well the chairs at the fire pit are low and deep and if you
are on the short side and if you are on the tall side they
just don't work. So we had dinner at a dining table
on the patio. From there we could see the fire pit
flames during dinner. Whoever purchased those chairs
didn't think about comfort - just looks. If we go back
I will take a photo of them to show you.
Sounds like a very nice evening. If the chairs were like the adirondack chairs in your one picture I love the looks of them but they aren't very comfortable.
