Quick Trip to Lancaster

My sister and I did a quick trip to Lancaster on Friday.  I picked
up a few yards of this and that plus 3 panels of patriotic quilt
labels.  These are going to Outreach to use on Veteran's quilts.
They are pressed and cut to make it easier for Chris
to use.  I think there are about 97 labels.
My sister is holding one of my quilts in front of the buggy
that sits outside the Log Cabin Quilt shop.
Rocking chairs are also outside the Log Cabin Quilt shop.
This is the shop I found my fabric at $3.99/yard.
This was taken from the car window while driving.
It's sorta of creepy yet interesting at the same time.
It looks like all 4 hoofs are off the road.  Since I'm not a
horse person ... can that be?
The buggies were out in full force on Friday.
Next trip ... will be in the spring.

  1. The gallop. It is called "suspension," when a horses' hooves are at the same time off the ground. It is a hard to catch photo.
