The second batik quilt top I was working on is now sewn together.
One day I'll finish it into a quilt but for now it's resting
in a pile on my table.
This patriotic quilt is currently on it's way to a new home.
The back star fabric fits perfectly with the front.
So one day I woke up and was in a napkin making mode.
These are gifts for Jennifer.  In the process I made Wilson & I
a few new sets of cloth napkins as well.
Then I was in the mask making mode.
These went with the napkins.  When you run out of elastic
you make ties.  Wilson actually likes the ties masks better.
I sent these and a few others to my nephews girlfriend.
Four little quilts are going into the corner I labeled
"Chris's Corner" in my sewing studio.

Will I ever get finished using all the batik fabric I have?
Here I'm playing around with the layout.
Wilson had a hankering for fried chicken so he
tried a new recipe and it turned out very well.
The only downside ... it made a big mess in the kitchen.

  1. I think ties are better than the elastic on the masks. At work, no one uses the elastic because they hurt your ears so we all have some kind of extender.
    Fried chicken sounds delicious.
