A Bunch of Around the Yard Pictures

It's always a surprise to see a squirrel in our yard.  With no
large trees for them to nest in someone must have told this
one there is cracked corn in the bird seed.

During the winter I buy premium bird seed but in the spring
when we have a ton of black birds and grackles I get
the cheap bird seed.  Thank goodness they are only here
for a few weeks then they move on.
The watch out on top of the pine.
This blackbird will tell the others when I leave the yard so
they can start gorging seed again.
Cherry buds are getting bigger each day.  This is exciting.
Front porch pots.  The tulips are pushing through.

Julep is still holding her own.  With a muscle relaxer plus
2 pain meds - one of which has an anti-inflammatory properties
I'm still lifting her up and down steps and limiting her walking.
We have 2 sets of resident geese ... here is one pair feeding on fallen seed.
Blue bird of happiness ... or so they say.

A Cowbird

Our next door neighbors are adding a room onto the back of their house.
They finally got re-started on the project today.
Mourning Dove
The rest of the gang is on the other side of the bed.
We are down to a group of 6 doves.

HAPPY SPRING

  1. Spring has definitely sprung in your yard. Love the hyacinth. Those are my favorite spring flower.
