French Rose ... Autumn Style!

I purchased the French Rose quilt kit/pattern last year.  It's been
sitting on my shelf due to all my other various projects.
Since I wanted to do something totally different with
"Turkey Talk" from Henry Glass I pulled out
the rose pattern.  Here are my progress shots.
These are really fun to cut out and make.  It's simple
raw edge appliqué and the more you wash the quilt the
raw edges begin to ravel giving the flower more depth.
Ready to be sewn 1/4" from the edges.

I only had enough background fabric to make
12 roses so a border or two will need to be added.
After this top is done I need to work with
the turkey panel.  Thinking table runner.
