"A Day at School" from Studio E Fabrics & "Blast Off" from Blank Quilting

 

Julep is halting my progress but that's ok since

I'm toying with block placement.

. . . A DAY AT SCHOOL . . .

I went to the Dollar Store and picked up two packages of 

flash cards to use in the unboxing photo's.

A child's pillowcase.  I used Jot Dot's for the cuff material.

. . . BLAST OFF . . .

I want to add stars to one side of the Blast Off panel.  I

decided to use my set of Creative Grid templates to create these.   

Designed by Karen Montgomery for Creative Grids.  

I cut the soft book panel into blocks. I'm still working the

layout for these little blocks in my mind.

I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

A Day at School and Blast Off are the last two 

collections I have from Jaftex to work with. 

 I have a bunch of other projects to finish up.

For example: quilting and binding all those Xmas

and Halloween quilts ... plus ... 5 tops that need

to be made into quilts ... plus a few side projects

of my own ... I'm alway busy.
